Reflective Road Marking Service by Vertex uses high-quality thermoplastic road marking paint, also known as hot melt marking paint. Supplied in powder form, the paint is heated to 200 °C (392 °F) in a hot melt kettle, then applied on road surfaces to form long-lasting and highly visible markings. Once cooled, the paint forms a thick polymer layer that is wear-resistant, bright, and reflective. These markings enhance visibility for drivers, especially at night. However, in snow and rainy weather, tests have shown that the surface can lack sufficient roughness, which may sometimes lead to wheel slip. For this reason, additional safety measures are often recommended.
